Research On Mental Health Status And Coping Strategies Of Impoverished College Students In Independent Colleges

The university is the base of training talents,the university student is the precious talent resource,is the important reserve force that builds the great cause of socialism with China characteristic.With the rapid development of our country's economy and society,our country's higher education is developing rapidly,the number of college students is increasing year by year and the scale is unprecedented.Independent colleges and universities are an important part of the development of higher education in China.Independent institutions are secondary institutions established jointly by schools and social institutions,with a profit mechanism,resulting in higher tuition fees than general undergraduate institutions.But educational opportunities are fair,and the gap between rich and poor can not be a barrier to college.So solving the problem of poor college students is also a key issue for independent colleges.The university is the transition stage from adolescence to maturity.The college students are more sensitive in body and mind.Facing the complicated social environment and the fierce pressure of talent competition,the psychological condition of some college students presents subhealth or unhealthy condition,even serious psychological problems.Especially when poor college students face objective problems such as interpersonal problems,academic pressure,emotional problems and employment problems,they are more likely to show anxiety,inferiority,depression,irritability,even violent tendency and other psychological problems.It is an important and urgent task for us to study seriously the mental health problems of poor college students,improve their psychological quality and promote their healthy growth.This paper aims at studying the mental health of poor university students in independent colleges and universities and puts forward countermeasures.First of all,according to the actual situation of poor college students,according to the method of literature analysis,questionnaire survey,chart analysis and cross-examination,the symptom self-evaluation table(SCL-90)was used as the main research tool to investigate the difference between poor students at 4 colleges and non-poor college students.Secondly,the author analyzes the reasons of the problem of the poor college students 'mental health through the questionnaire.Finally,put forward the corresponding countermeasures from the social angle,university level,parent level and student level.
