We study on the syntactic realization of agent& patient from the angle of sentactic taxonomy, and analyze the degree that agent& patient of different sentactic taxonomy rely on its syntactic position. We analyze which agents with different sentactic taxonomy would like to become subjects, and which patients would like to become objects more easily. Also,we summarize zhe mapping moddles and characters. The thesis is organized as following:The first chapter is introduction. In this part,we surveys various notions of patient and relevant mapping theories between semantic structure and syntactic structure, especially the previous and present studies of the linking approaches between agent/patient and syntactic arguments,at home an abroad. We give our aims methods and significance. In the second chapter,we introduce our corpus building, which is very important to our study. We spend one year to build a corpus composed of about 60,000 words, and then, extract the useful information about agent and patient from it.In this way,we can study the taxonomy, synctic and sentactic information. Main contant is composed of the follow three chapters. We analyze agent and patient from two directions to seeking for the syntax realization rules, separately. In third and the fourth chapter,wo summarize two groups of rules, which we use to explain the phenomenon we find.We analyze the phenomenon to find how the rules work. The forth chapter is from semantic to syntactic. In this part,we analyze how the agent and patient mapping from semantic to syntactic. We organize some fundamental types, and sumarize some charecters. In the last part,we make a try aimes to the formalized requests of computer. Also,we summarize the hole thesis in this part. The innovations of this papei mainly lies on that, aims at the information processing need, take angent and patient as examples, and try to propose a new way to solve the problem. We try to summarizes rules hides in various of the linguictic phenomenon, and seeking for the effective factor from the angle of semantic taxonymy, when semantic elements turn to be syntactic elements. |
