Based on plentiful documents, the research carries out a systemic study and case analyses on the learning of Xiaoyi shadow play with depth interviews and field notes. What the research has found are that 1, the drive of the apprenticeship learning is self-fulfillment need; 2, the apprenticeship knowledge is a kind of implicit knowledge, procedural knowledge, local knowledge; 3, the apprenticeship learning is an implicit learning, an observational and imitational learning, a practical learning, a situational learning and an independent learning. The shadow play is obtained from Troupe Company, not from the master. As a case of apprenticeship, the learning of shadow play has some revelations on learning view, knowledge points and the teaching process in school.
