This article is centered at the reseach of synaesthesia in art in the field of print advertising design. By discussing about the manifestation and application of visual translation of synaesthesia in art in print advertising design. With creative ideas and equal attention to theory and practice, it comes up with new theories and practices. And it also acknowledges debtedness to the latest and classic reseach results of synaesthesia home and abroad and to those excellent print Ads for their inspirations .There are four chapters in all. Chapter one is doing research on synaesthesia in art by taking it as a psychological phenonenon, figurative device as well as a method of art performance. It will enable people to have a full understanding of the nature of synaesthesia by giving emphasis on its sensitivity, originality and aestheticism. Chapter two is doing research on the visual translation of synaesthesia in art from the perspective of semiotics and on the distance of visual translation of synaesthesia in art from the perspective of informatics, which lays a new theory foundation for the manifestation and application of Synaesthesia in Print advertising design. Chapter three is analysing the performance of visual translation of synaesthesia in print Ads design from the point of advertising creativity and design. This is an innovation of the utility of synaesthesia. Chapter four gives explanation about the advantages and limitations of synaesthesia in print advertising design through a lot of examples, meanwhile initiates some ideas and teaching methods of visualization training in the teaching of print advertising design.
