Modernist design concept have created a splendid history of industrial civilization. Yet the traditional boring and dull notion from modernist design concept has conflicted with the introduction of international design concept. Therefore, design concept full of national characteristics has attracted more and more attention under mature design awareness and well developed economic conditions. With world’s diverse cultural patterns stepping into our sight today, the design concept of traditional and natural are bringing increasingly stronger visual impact. Print inherits intuitive paint features which has more humane and intimacy elements. As print is full of originality from the perspective of industrial production and industrial reasonablity,it shows strong feature of irreplaceable. The psychological ideas and unique modeling approach makes the source of inspiration and innovation for contemporary prints designers. Born in Shenyang and lived in Shanghai, the author has seen each city’s own unique feature. And city is shaping its own city brand to promote its own distinctive economic model. And it is conclude that both cities of Shenyang and Shanghai have its own distinctive characteristics and the author has felt its city brand visual cultural impact personally and strongly. The city is full of life under influence from diet culture from its originality to development. This thesis will first discuss the diet culture of each city, and then explore the mingle in diet culture. Base on the integration of print in the brand visual design, it is concluded that novelty will come from different collision perspective.
