The Study Of The Structure "Shang/Xia+Object" In The Shan County Dialect Of Shandong Province

This thesis explores the structure "shnag/xia + Object" in the Shan County dialect of Shandong Province. The thesis consists of five parts:Part One analyzes the senses and semantic evolution of the verbs"shang/xia". It shows that there are 20 senses about the verb "shang" and 15 senses about the verb "xia" from the far-ranging dialect facts. Semantic evolution of the verbs "shang/xia" is a Complex cognition Process.Part Two explores the symmetric system of the structure "shang/xia + Object" in the Shan County dialect. Mainly based on the three categories of symmetry which are absolute symmetry, relative symmetry and vacant symmetry, we inspected the symmetric and asymmetric phenomena in the verb phrases of the verbs "shang/xia" in Shan County dialect. we found out the reason of the symmetric system of the structure "shang/xia +Object".Part Three investigates the Dynamic Particle in structure "shang/xia +Object" in Shan County dialect. We found the distribution Rule and Changes the path about the Particle.Part Four explores the structure "shang/xia+ Object" in the Shan County dialect. The semantic relations in this structure are mainly divided into six categories, namely shang/xia + Locative Object,shang/xia + Recipient Object,shang/xia + Agentive Object,shang/xia + Quantitative Object,shang/xia + Tools (Means) Object,shang/xia + Causative Object.Part Five explores the valence of the structure "shang/xia +Object" in the Shan County dialect. We inspected the valence of the verbs "shang/xia" from four aspects, namely valence quantity, valence quality, valence Location, valence use. We found out the rules of syntactic and semantics that the structure "shang/xia "produce "verb+Object".
