A Probe Into The Feminine Novel In The New Century

From the beginning of the new century, the feminine novel has taken on a whole new look and started a new trend, thus a systematic and comprehensive grasp of its new qualities is theoretically and realistically important for the healthy development of the feminine novel and its further research. That is why I choose to do some research on the feminine novel.In this thesis a probe into the inner meaning and narrative characteristics of new century's feminine novel is made from three different dimensions by using theories of feminist, sociology, psychology and narratology, and then further analysis is made on its creative possibility and limitations and also its further trends. The whole thesis can be divided into six parts:The Introduction summarizes the present situation of the creation of feminine novels in the new century, the recent progresses and flaws of its research and the value of this topic.The first chapter mainly inspects the intensive narration of the living conditions of low estate by feminine novels in the new century, especially the narrative matter of the populace novels from aspects of the village women's puzzles about life and the ark of city zilch's hearts. A systematic explanation of the female writers' softness presents in their writings is also included in this chapter.The second chapter addresses the in-depth writing of modern urban life by feminine novels. In this chapter, the mental illness associated with special times and the interior thinking of urban people are explored thoroughly, and challenging witty narration in the urban writing is then analyzed with much attention.In the third chapter, special attention is given to the distinctive cultural revolution novels and the grand historical novels among the feminine historical novels in the new century.The Fourth chapter mainly analyzes the reasons for the feminine novel's creation in the new century, namely the needs of the times and the consciousness of these writers. On the other hand, the limitations of the creation are also reflected, and it is caused by lacking of experience and replacing of imagination according to the author.In conclusion, the future trends on new century's feminine novel are anticipated according to the summarization of the above contents.
