Chinese overseas have drifted in the alien lands for many years. Their literature works are distinctive from the locals, because of the special living conditions. Besides, the Chinese female overseas are faced with severer conditions. They have been living on the edge all the time. To be more specific, they have to not only struggle with the impact caused by alien cultures, but also seek their own position in the chauvinistic world. Therefore, Chinese female overseas writers have emphasized the exploration of sex identity and sex consciousness in their works. Moreover, they also display those two types of edge living conditions through the works. In recent years, it has been more popular to study the Chinese overseas'literature works from the angle of identification acknowledgement. And the research on cultural identification has gained more attention in literature field. At present, some scholars have already conducted the systematic studies based on the American Chinese literature, European Chinese literature, Singaporean Chinese literature, Malaysian Chinese literature and etc; however, scholars seldom study Japanese Chinese literature from that angle. At the same time, we have found that Japanese Chinese are faced with the confusion of identification in their works. Based on the above, this paper takes the contemporary Japanese Chinese female writers and their literature works as the research subjects. The female writers Jiang Pu, Yang Yi are centered as the focus. It aims to study Japanese Chinese female literature works from the identification acknowledgement angle; and explore how they envisage and reconstruct their self-identification.
