From 1980s,foreign researchers had paid attentions to social anxiety ,and made a lot of research about social anxiety .Comparaed with the research of foreign country, demestic researchers started making research about social anxiety was late, the research about high school students'social anxiety were few.The outbreak of Social Anxiety Disordor was earlier than other Anxiety Disorder,SAD was kicked up in the middle of adolescence(13~19 year old).When mental health of high school students was investigeted, many research indicated that there had anxiety toward people and interpersonal sensitivity.In order to richen demestic research of social anxiety, this research paper revised Social Interaction Scale (SIAS) and Social Phobia Scale(SPS) of Mattick and Clarke ,and survey 721 students of high school in Hunan Province.This survey investigated four main goal:1,the reliability and validity of SIAS and SPS;2,the whole state of high school students'social anxiety;3,the effect of demographic variables on high school students'social anxiety ;4,the relationship of emotional intelligence,coping style,social support and social anxiety of high school student. The result indicated:1,the stucture of SIAS and SPS is complex, this research paper delete the item reverse scored in SIAS is exceptional, retain 17 item of SIAS, and use total score of SIAS and SPS;2,the reliability and validity of SIAS and SPS is good ; 3,the level of high school students'social anxiety is high ;4,Except sex have significant difference on high school students'social anxiety, different grades , singleton and non-singleton ,rural area and urban area ,different parents'literacy had no significant differences;5,self-accusation,negative coping style,social support can predict social anxiety.6,A model indicated that negative coping style,emotional intelligence and social support have significant effects on social anxiety.
