"History Of Three Kingdoms" And It's Historical Value

As one of the first four histories, Chen Shou's History of three kingdoms not only obtains great historical achievement, but also brews perfect historical value.In this paper, by the animus of "evaluate affairs through study personality", as times background for the thread, through Chen Shou's life, we analyze Chen Shou's Academic Heritage from four aspects: family background, sect, schoolmates and colleagues, and analyze the effect of surroundings and personnel to Chen Shou and Chen Shou's History of three kingdoms.As for the character of History of three kingdoms, Chen Shou writed literarily people's appearance, motion, tongue and stories by the effect of metaphysics. But we could found that it embodies Chen Shou's Confucian spirit and politics dream through person description and figures evaluation.As for the historical value, we analyze from three aspects. Firstly, we analyzed in-depth the " legitimism " problem, and consider that Chen treat correctly of history of three kingdoms, and his "conception of legitimism" had been a notion of historical materialism. Secondly, on the stylistic rules and layout of sanguozhi, the visa field of Chen is very open. He not only recorded the framework of tripartite confrontation of three kingdoms, but also recorded the historical tendency from a state torn. The styles of sanguozhi reflected better the historical feature and characters of this historical period. We proposed our perspective on the chapter structure of History of three kingdoms, i.e. "One divided into three" and "A merger of the three". Finally the careful selection of writing materials in History of three kingdoms is different to Si maqian's Shi ji, he worked with historical responsibility and morality.
