The Dream Of Chinese National Design Has Been "Circled"

With the course of global unification the world culture merge into the course. Beijing Olympic Games offer an unprecedented opportunity for Chinese design. China has thousand years of history and glorious civilization, it clearly shows the direction. Chinese design should develop toward the direction of nationalization. The course of the development also is the course of realizing the dream.The year 2008 is named"a year of new era", that is, a"circle". The year itself means both the beginning and the ending at the same time. The Chinese people began to understand"circle"in the initial stage of human beings. The ancient Chinese people cherished the worship of the sun, moon, heaven and earth, and therefore began to realize the initial consciousness of the"circle". Since then the thinkers, philosophers and artists through the ages have paid a great deal to the"circle". The"circle"clearly states harmony, gentleness, motion, compatibility and faultless beauty. It is the source and root for things to live on: it is also the essence of thinking of ancient Chinese culture.We should use the mind of"circle", our design should consist of traditional culture. So , we can create the design which has Chinese feature and unceasing developing, by realizing the national dream of making Chinese design stand out in the world forest of all nations.
