| The history of Christianity of China plays an important part in the history of cultural exchanges between the East and the West , especially in the modern society. In this historical period , the spread of Christianity has had a far-reaching implications to local culture of China.Qinghai Province is located in a remote area of China-- the unique circumstances, scarce supplies and mixed multi-ethnic, and multi-cultural complexing forms. The spread of Christianity in Qinghai region is a trying of the Western Christianity to China, especially in the northwest ethnic China region. The process of the spread of the Christianity in Qinghai region has followed the routines in the Central plains region. At the same time, with the geographical and cultural impact of Qinghai, the missionaries had developed a number of the programmes according to the local conditions, and achieved certain results. But because of the differences between Western culture and the Eastern culturn and the receivers of the Qinghai region to be strange and against the Christianity, the missionary activities in Qinghai has been difficult. Although a small number of missionaries and the officials of Qinghai regions had reached a relatively close mutual relations, but its social influence is still limited. The present essay is based on the clues of spread of Christianity in Qinghai region and on the basis of specific historical data. According to different historical periods, the characteristics of the spread of Christianity and the details of the work of the missionaries has givern a more profound explanation of the spread the Christianity in Qinghai region. In particular, the relationship between the different social classes and the groups has been analysesd in details and objectively, from which the characteristics of the history of Christianity in Qinghai and the influences to the modern society of Qinghai has been summarized. Thus, the history of the spread of christianity in Qinghai region has been concluded.
