The Research Of Chen Fuliang's Thought

The thesis obtains from Chen Fuliang's life, attempts to reveal the development process of Chen Fuliang's utilitarianism thought, and with at that time social environment's relations, then map the production reason and the developing process of Yongjia school.As the transitional figure of Yongjia school between Xue Jixuan and Ye Shi, in the environment which is full of complicated contradictions, Chen Fuliang withstanded the pressure from all aspects by his tenacious character and still keep the utilitarianism direction of Yongjia school. At the same time , with the gigantic pressure , he sometimes compromised or kept away. So he also influenced Yongjia school's distinct theme . The theory of his thought is not strong. He was concerned about the real questions of society, such as the rise and fall of the nation, social reform, the public weal and woe, and so on. "Widing financial resources of the people" is the core of his thought. His influence to Ye Shi who was the synthesizer of Yongjia school not reflected on the theory but on direction and personality.Using the "Expound theory by case" method, this thesis explains the Chen Fuliang's utilitarianism thought by concrete examples, and takes an introductory to the sources and characteristics of utilitarianism thought also.
