In the past, the studies on Question-Response pair of Chinese language mostly focused on the questions, but paid little attention to the responses. With the help of the theories of pragmatics and discourse analysis, this paper analyses and explains three kinds of responses of Question-Response pair in Chinese language in determiner-measure and determiner-nature way, and specially focuses on the analysis of performance of the responses. The study found that, responses of Question-Response pair of Chinese language not only is of diversity in shape, but also is not of equilibrium in the distribution. Direct response is relatively simple and has defined meaning, holding the largest proportion in the communication process; but the indirect response is more complicated on performance and belongs to pragmatic expression, and the meanings this response caused most mean negative significance. The relation between some of initiation and the various responses it triggers is also not equal; there is difference of the preferred degree. This paper analyses the reasons giving rise to these phenomena.
