Consequently, in order to express the abstraction factors like geometric shape, lines, light and shade, texture etc. to achieve a fine composition of picture by photography, the photographer must do utmost to exert his subjective initiative under limitations, which largely restricted by the photomechanical. The largest difference between photography and human visual perception is photography does not have nervous system, let alone emotion.This thesis intends to make clear the inevitability of advantages, exist and development of realistic painting though analyzing the differences between realistic painting and photography in artistic form, creating process, value and development. On the contrary, lots of realistic artists use advanced photographic skill in there artistic creation. From time immemorial the westerners have the tradition to pursue true, realistic and aesthetic taste. The precise and realistic photographic skill just would be the assistant of realistic painting and source of material. The scientific technology illumined the realistic painting continuously, and it becomes more and more active and vigorous.
