Russell's Truth In The Perspective Of Logic

Russell is a great logician and the main founder of modern logic and modern analytic philosophy , and he is one of the main representatives of modern correspondence theory of truth . In order to effect the intention of researching truth , the correspondence theory of truth which is based on Logic Atomism , analyses modal frames and meaning of sentences ( or proposition ), and constructs proposition systems . Researching The truth in logical visual field of Russell has important realistic significance .The thesis is divided into three parts:The first part: The theoretical origin of Russell's correspondence theory of truth . This part discusses mainly the most ancient,the most faraway and the most representative Aristotle's correspondence theory of truth and Locke's correspondence theory of truth . Affected on Aristotle's correspondence theory of truth , and at the same time of protesting Locke's correspondence theory of truth , Russell founded own correspondence theory of truth step by step after overcoming idealistic difficulties again and again .The second part: The truth in logical visual field of Russell. This part elaborates the critical concepts and main contents concerned in Russell's correspondence theory of truth . Based on the thought of " correspondence theory of truth ", we discuss simply common theory of truth and explanations to implication of logic truth of other logicians , on the background of it , we elaborate Russell's logic truth , and we distinguish Russell's correspondence theory of truth from other correspondence theory of truth , conclude that Russell's correspondence theory of truth is a great improvement.The third part : The evaluation of Russell's theory of truth . This part mainly refers to The distinctive means in researching truth of Russell, that is the means of logical atomic analysis , discusses the deficiencies and effects of Russell's theory of truth , at last concludes the edify of Russell's theory of truth . In view of this , we realize that Russell's theory of truth has shortcoming , thought it comes into previous correspondence theory of truth and has developed it, and is relatively reasonable . We also realize modern logic is very important, and its development is necessary .
