Taigu Yangge , a kind of local dance play in the county of Taigu , is loved by the people bscause of its beautiful-sounding melody and easily understood language . It formed Taigu Yangge's unique artistic style by the rich folk music words and magic melody in its mode, specially the lots of its mode forms.Taigu Yangge ,which is popular in Jinzhong Region and is very influential, has unique mode that attracted experts and scholars. Neither the collection, collation and publication of Taigu Yangge, nor the concern of the characteristics of the music lyrics and literature of Taigu Yangge was given the enough attention. Until the the 1980s and 1990s, Guan Qingshun and Yan Dingwen do more detailed study on the Taigu Yangge music .But there are not so many books about Taigu Yangge music, some of which is only about the collection and collation of the mode.This paper , using the methods of comparing, quantitative analysis, statistics and summarizing, does a lot of research about the mode of Taigu Yangge through the analysis of the structure of the prolongation and the relationship of the mode. It also does systematic analysis in four different parts of the structure tone of the prolongation, five-tone multi-gong synthesis, the technique of mode. At the end of this paper there is a conclusion of the unique mode in Taigu Yangge. The are some differents from the previous papers:The first of all, Do more analysis of structure tone of prolongation of Taigu Tangge in which Near-Tone of Below-Gong 2-2-2 shows frequently . The next is the comprehension between the jump and narrow and wide-tune . Both of the above two is the main in Taigu Yangge.The second, Do more analysis of Five-Tone Integrated Mode in five aspects . After this analysis through three parts of basic-Gong and Five-up degree , basic-Gong and Five-Below Degree , basic-Gong and the two ones and come to the conclusion . At last shows four types of mode in Taigu Yangge.The last, through the analysis of Single Mode in Taigu Yangge , we can sort the mode as Zhi, Gong, Yu, Jiao , Shang .This will enable the article to be a comprehensive, accurate and objective to reach conclusions. And explore the origin and reflection in Music Ontology.
