Silk culture combines the civilization achievements of material and spiritual wealth. In Han dynasty, silk culture merged with the poetry and rhyme-prose deeply and was closely connected with their creation and aesthetics. The communication of the two fields widens the view of literature creation. In light of the lacking of researches on the relationship between silk culture and the poetry and rhyme-prose of Han dynasty in the academic field, in the thesis, the author discussed systematically the mutual relationship between silk culture of Han dynasty and the poetry and rhyme-prose of the same period based on the analysis of the scripts of the poetry and rhyme-prose. Through studying silk culture and the poetry and rhyme-prose of Han dynasty, the author found that silk culture richens the techniques and subject matter of poetry and rhyme-prose's creation, broadens creative views, and has a deep influence on the mentality and methods of literature creation aftertime. Therefore, it is proved that the certain literature mentality formed in the original and developing stages is positive and effect. Meanwhile, through the research on the silk culture and aesthetics of Han's poetry and rhyme-prose, it is also clarified that the similarities in their art style and aesthetic interest are helpful to understand the confident and creative style and romantic and flexible aesthetic features of Han dynasty.The thesis is composed of five parts: preface, the three chapters and the conclusion. In Chapter 1 Prosperity of Silk Culture of Han Dynasty, the category of silk culture is defined on the basis of reviewing the history of silk culture. The discussion on the colorful and stylistic silk culture provides the cultural background for expounding the merge of silk culture and the poetry and rhyme-prose of Han dynasty. Beginning from the poetry and rhyme-prose fusing the cultural image of silk culture, Chapter 2 Silk Culture and the Creation of Han's Poetry and Rhyme-prose is focused on the discussion of mutual effect of silk culture and the poetry and rhyme-prose, analysis and elaboration of poetry and rhyme-prose's human meaning and literature value from multiple perspectives, and explanation of the subjective reason of the phenomenon. Chapter 3 the Aesthetics of Silk Culture and the Poetry and Rhyme-prose of Han Dynasty is the research of the aesthetic style of Han's poetry and rhyme-prose referring to the silk patterns' beauty in form, design, and the great manner of Han dynasty. It reflects the aesthetic features of Han dynasty which is prosperous, elegant, flying, and grand, and reveals the aesthetic interest and creative spirit of people in that period. The last part, The Influence of the Merge of Silk Culture and the Poetry and Rhyme-prose of Han Dynasty on Literature of Later Ages, concludes the importance of the merge, and points out that this phenomenon continues in the literature field of later ages, and becomes China's unique creative subject and aesthetic model which shows great impact on the literature theory and creation of later ages.
