A Study On Cultural Landscape Of Henan Province In The View Of Geography

Culture is a kind of social phenomenon, all human wisdom is condensed in it through the development of the whole human history. With the development of science and technology and improvement of the degree of informatization, cultural exchanges and assimilation between various regions has become more and more integrated, impelling the social production mode and life style evolving continuously, which not only shows the trend of cultural similarity, but also presents the multiplex tendency based on the distinct local culture. Cultural landscape is the most directive perception of regional culture, which has exercised strong attractions on geographers, particularly those of Berkeley School. Located in central-plain, Henan Province has a long history and rich cultural landscape, and is the epitome of Chinese culture landscape. On the view of geography, this paper takes the cultural landscape of Henan Province as an example, investigating the evolution law of cultural landscape, in order to enrich the theoretical system of cultural geography and expand the field of region cultural landscape. At the same time, it can perfect cultural gene-bank in practice, more important, protect, inherit and create excellent culture relations between Material, and Spiritual Civilization, accelerating the Development of Harmonious Society.First, this paper elaborates its study background and significance, describes the present state of study in the world, at the same time, summarizes theoretical discussion on its concept, process and character, on this basis, under the guide of cultural geography, cultural sociology, landscape studies science, using other methods, such as qualitative analysis, comparison analysis, induction analysis etc, the dissertation make deep analysis, full comparison and brief comment of formation mechanism of cultural landscape, then select the most representative cultural landscape. Based on the difference of cultural landscape, this paper divided Henan Province into four cultural region. Finally, according to cultural landscape development status of Henan Province, this paper puts forward to promote the cultural grade, develop cultural undertakings and industry actively.Based on these analyses, we draw the conclusions on the formation mechanism of cultural landscape, representative cultural landscape, and cultural region. Just as followings:(1) Formation mechanism of cultural landscape, including environmental perception formation mechanism, social economy formation mechanism, time accumulated formation mechanism, psychological behavior formation mechanism, foreign factors formation mechanism and its action mode.(2) Representative cultural landscape, including linguistic cultural landscape, religion cultural landscape, artistic cultural landscape(drama cultural landscape, wu-shu cultural landscape), dietary cultural landscape, flower cultural landscape, cultural landscape, folk cultural landscape and its characteristics, culture perception.(3) Cultural region division. Based on the complicated natural environment, and difference of its derivative production mode and life style, we divided Henan Province into four cultural region as followings: East Henan cultural region, Western Henan cultural region, South Henan cultural region, North Henan cultural region and its geographic range, development venation, and landscape characteristics.
