The Chinese "eight sceneries" landscape gave birth to ideas from the pre-Qin period, matured in the two Songs Dynasty. The earliest records of the "eight sceneries" appeared in the Northern Song Dynasty, which is also named "Xiaoxiang eight sceneries" by Song Di.China’s "eight scenic" landscapes are the product of ancient people’s combination of culture and tourism. From ancient times to today, they have a long history and can be regarded as a treasure of Chinese history and culture. With the combination of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Tourism, the development of cultural tourism has become a trend. The research on the types and development of the "eight scenic spots" in China can not only improve people’s understanding and emphasis on the "eight scenic spots" landscape, but also provide a useful reference for the development of Chinese cultural tourism resources so that it will promote the development of the tourism industry.China’s "eight sceneries" are rich in content. This article uses literature research methods, statistical analysis methods and induction methods to study them. After sorting out the data,a total of 19487 "eight sceneries" in China were obtained.By using the common classification method of tourism resources, the author makes the cumulative superposition statistics of the landscape elements of "eight sceneries" in China, and finds that the number of geomorphic landscape is the most in the natural landscape, and the number of building facilities landscape is the most in the human landscape. The paper is based on the idea of fuzzy set theory and Weber’s industrial location theory. From the perspective of resource distribution,"eight scenic spots" in China are divided into two categories: ubiquitous tourism resources and local tourism resources.Ubiquitous tourism resources mainly include celestial phenomena, meteorology, sound and color.Local tourism resources mainly include unique natural scenery, artificial buildings, cultural relics, myths and legends and human activities. In general, there are various types of "eight sceneries" in China. To explore the types of "eight sceneries" from the perspective of resources is a kind of classified innovation, which lays a foundation for the futher research. There are different rules for the formation of "eight sceneries" in China, which lead to different characteristics. The ubiquitous tourism resources are free,universal,time-consuming,inexhaustible,pluralistic,real and virtual;the local tourism resources are limited, local, combined and odd. Finally,in the development and utilization of China’s "eight sceneries" landscape,we mainly regard the "eight sceneries" landscape as cultural tourism resources and explore two types respectively, and draw a conclusion: In the development and utilization of ubiquitous tourism resources,it is necessary to "broaden the perspective and turn waste into treasure;skillfully organize scenery and bring forth new through the old;balance development and avoid blank";in the development and utilization of local tourism resources,it is necessary to "inherit culture and highlight characteristics;adjust measures to local conditions and build alternatives;rectify the old as the old and stick to the archaize".
