since the late 1990s,a group of chinese middle-aged and young artists in watercolour sector, had been jumped out of the traditional watercolor painting pattern which reflect the modern aesthetic concepts and the pursuit of fun, that gradually formed a modern form of contemporaries. They attempt to paint creatively in their own subjective awareness that would reflect their own artical personality, and that to create a rich and varied forms and methods of manifestations . However, in the process of this transformation , the traditional media was inhibiting to its artistic independence through a variety of factors in the material properties and linguistic characteristics ,and the controversy on "Waterborne" has been ongoing. The paper begins with the new artcal period that creaed by a new generation of the watercolours ,describing the creative movement in watercolor from the perspective of the artistic essence and artistic spirit ,and discussing in depth the problems of the watercolor painting on the basic of the analysis of the development status in contemporary Chinese paintings.Papers start a exposition in the dividence of five chapters. The chapter 1 is a brief view over the background of the modern Chinese watercolor painting. Chapter 2 discusses in detail that how to complete the transition of China's modern paintings from the traditional to the modern, and then creating a prosperity situation with colorful forms and methods of manifestations. Chapter 3, the author specificly analyzes the embarrassing situation that the modern Chinese paintings facing with,including the inhibition of the traditional media for the artistic independence on the problems of the material properties and linguistic characteristics , in the range of concepts about the arts still based on the technical level and on the debation of the specific issues that be specific analyzed such as the quarrations in the watercolor and Nationalization Waterborne . Chapter 4 studies of changes and development of the modern watercolor,in which discusses in detail which sort of watercolor painting that needs to be created in contemporary China ,make the analysis of contemporary culture, meanwhile offering the objective evaluation in the development of art in watercolor painting, And finally make a judgement of social meaning and cultural significance resulting from that . Chapter 5 is a other scope on creative movement of the watercolor from the perspective in the essence and spirit of art, and then it continues to describe foundation for the development of the modern watercolor painting ,for the pursuit of modern aweness , Schema language, and as well as importance of the concern for article style.in the last paragraph, the author concluds inevitability of change and development in modern watercolor painting...
