The thesis, which is guided by the Marxism Stratigies and on the basis of previous researches, attempts to use traditional literature and excavated culural relics to discuss and analyze the relationship between science technology and military construction of Qin and Han Dynasty in China, and furthurly expound their characters and application to military. The thesis focuses on six aspects: military mechanism, military chemical industry and metallurgy, engineering technology, mecidal technology, astronomy and meterology technology, military communication and transmission. The conclusion is that after Qin Dynasty, China came into an era of iron weapon. And unitl Donghan Dynasty, copper weapon was competely replaced by iron weapon. The progress of engineering technology, which is simbolized by the Great Wall, is also significant. But wholly speaking, the science and technology applied to military construction of Qin and Han Dynasty was only a quantitative change, not a qualitative one.
