How much social reform did the revolution realize in the soviet areas? At present, it is the hotly discussed problem as a part of the research on the social history of soviet area. From the relationship between the soviet revolution and the traditional social structure, the occuring, development of the soviet revolution and its process of social reform were all rooted in a complicated, multi-layered, dynamic traditional social structure. Though the soviet revolution was attempted to perform according to the soviet model, it can't be researched only on the facial layer-- the aim planned by the revolution itself. Taking JiangXi Soviet Area as a central inspection, in the angle of counteraction of the traditional social structure, from its impact on the revolutionary function, through the investigation of its backward social reform in soviet area and the result, the dissertation tries to disclose the aberrance and modification in the process of soviet revolution, then the revolution will be comprehended more deeply.
