How To Arrange Chinese Sights And Sounds

Chinese Sights and Sounds was finished and first performed in 1991.lt was a suite including 24 orchestral pieces. Melodies of them, from famous, popular folk sounds of Chinese 6 provinces, were just like musical pictures. The suite was played more than 40 countries and regions,and praised at home and abroad.This dissertation is based on Bao Yuankai's "Chinese Sighs and Sounds". By using different kinds of composing and arranging skills. It makes it possible not only to keep its original style and features but also to become music works for piano playing style. It approaches different rules and regulations in arranging for piano and the existing values and social significance of Chinese arrangingmusic for piano.
