During the development of Buddhist poetry, the style and soul of the poetry is changing with the developmental society and history. In its distinct forms, the poetry carries a part of the essence and the humanism connotation of social culture. As a style of Buddhist scriptures, the characteristic of Gatha has been changed gradually with the advancing tide of history in the form of localization of infiltration. Historically, monks express their savvy through Gatha. In particular, at the sophisticated stage of Buddhist poetry in china, when the Buddhism was popularized, the vernacular poems exist in the branch of the Buddhist literature as another manifestation of Buddhist poetry.In this thesis, we analyzing the Buddhist poetry in classification, topic, historical development and evolution of localization form the poetics point of view. We interpret the origins of literary works of Gatha, review the localization and the cultural groups which the Buddhist poetry bearing on, and study the Poem Movement through the moral principles of Buddhism, literature and art expression patterns. The splendor of Buddhist literature is understood by analyzing the differences between the Gatha and the vernacular Buddhist poetry in content and form. We put forward a number of our own experience and study perspective on the basis of others' research results.
