The popularity of Jin Yong's novels bases on the root of thought deeply. It shows so much paradox in the cultural transformation of modern Chinese society. The cultural conservatism implied in his novels have not only made his success, but also limited his development.As a writer of light literature, Jin Yong have gained more reputation and science reputation than others ,it is because that besides his literary talent the writer also have the attitude of deference and containing to traditional culture . In the twentieth century Chinese literature showed fiercely trends of westernization, ideology and politicized influenced by radical political campaign, fighting philosophy and enlightenment consciousness. Jin Yong has realized the modern interpretation and transcend to Chinese traditional culture on the premise of appearing the traits of nation. At the same time, his novels includes much more queries and animadverts to modern cultures, kept the eroticization and transcending to traditional culture and modern civilization, and represents the another trends of culture modernization .All that is the special values of Jin Yong in history of Chinese literature. But such values also made his novels get into puzzled on many levels. Masculine central consciousness, Han standard consciousness, extensive moralization and elite salvation consciousness have not only made the modern values of his novels falsehood and partial, but also made the distortion in traditional culture conversion ,combines with the various critical theories of the modern idea system. The inner internal confliction of author's values makes his novels show the fragmentation in many aspects.The core ideology of this essay is that exploring the homogeneity of the light literature and "The 20 century new literature" through the analysis in Jin Yong's novels, and analysis social and historical intension behind the homogeneity.
