In today's literary world,there hasn't been overall and systematic research into group image of women with knowledge by women writers in the 1940's Shanghai.In order to expand the width and depth of women literature research of that time and make people have a new recognition of some pop women writers' special value then.The article focuses on the talk of survival by women with knowledge in Shanghai in the 1940s.The research centers on that of women literature in Shanghai's occupied area by enemy.Combining theory of feminism,it compares those in different times and different areas to show special view of women literature in the 1940s' Shanghai.Chapter one to three analyze difficult living state of women with knowledge in family, sentiment,occupation,etc and observe writing feature by women in the 1940s.They took family and marriage as materials,showing all sides of city life,which has a clear introversion. They cleared up myth of love.They were brave to talk about sex directly,pouring out women's original lust in heart.Their writings present contradictory track,mingled with modem and tradition,rationality and sensibleness,open and reserved,going out and returning. Chapter four discusses their literary style of self narration.Chapter five deeply explores factors which influence the moulding of such talks.They include external influence-war situation and city culture,and internal reasons—literature's own development and women writers' common need of pouring out themselves.
