The "Grid Patterning" Style Background

The use of grid pattern is quite the rage in the design field and gradually develops following unsystematic rules and regulations.This text is going to research on numerous works characterized by a grid pattern in scientific time through philosophy and psychology, in order to sum up the trait of this designing element (grid pattern) and the reason for its revival. Then we will explore the new trend of showing the traditional culture through new elements and modern approaches.We proposed the concept of"grid patterning"to generalize the latest designing style and also supply a different technique to survey the developing trend of design against the digital science background.The revival of the grid pattern is discussed in terms of style, function and design procedures. We hope to discover the source of the new element in traditional culture and shed light on carrying forward the native culture through the integration of fashion and tradition.
