On Modern Values Of Native Language And Traditional Knowledge

In the process of men's interacting with nature, they have been accumulating and developing traditional knowledge from one generation to the next. Aboriginal knowledge,resulting from human wisdom and experience, is enriched with implications and is the fountain of modern knowledge. However, the concept of traditional knowledge had been ignored long before it was put forward and showed concern for in contemporary times. Along with the development and expansion of modern civilization, there has been little traditional knowledge preserved in developed countries or developed areas of developing countries, that is, most of this has been abandoned. Therefore, for the sake of saving this treasure of human knowledge, actions involving collecting, sorting and preserving of traditional knowledge should be carried out right now. This thesis, expatiating the native language and modern value of traditional knowledge in agriculture, medical science and ecology, demonstrates the important role it plays in modern society,focus the attention of people furthermore.
