Graphic language is the essence part of the design elements of visual communication. The choosing, polishing and actualizing of graphic language are always carrying out in the various stages of creative design. The designers condense the culture and creativity into individual graphic language and expression style, express the design theme artistically. The most ideal method is to select the most popular,typical ,culturalization and attrctive cultural symbols of the current times as the dissemination symbol of information of graphic language design. Thus from a certain perspective, graphic language originality design is a centralized embodiment of cultural spirit of certain historical time. Contemporary designer on design practice medium need unique of thinking model binding new method and form fore creation out not oniy originality but also culture connotation depth,thus makeworks full more strong design charm and originality charm and cultural charm.This paper is divided into five parts. The first part provides an overview on the uniqueness,symbolization and important character of graphic language in visual communication design. Expounded that graphic language design is a complex and interesting creative thinking activities in certain art philosophy and visual principles.The second part discusses that the core of design is the originality of graphic language. It comes from the creative thinking mode. It is a senior thought activity, it solves existing problems and procedures through rulebreaking,unique,distinctive design thoughts, and achieves the thinking results with value-creating significance.The third part discusses that the design work must not only be creative, but also with cultural value. The creativity and culturalization of graphic language convey perfect visual information together in design process through the performance style. The new design method and form will finally be determined by the atmosphere of the times, not just from the blood and connotation of the culture of a folk. Designers can not ignore the depth and ideology of his work, to make their works with strong design style and cultural charm. Under the precondition that use the western design culture for reference, designers need to have good overall quality to promote the thinking ways more mature, to upgrade the design concept and to materialize the design content.The fourth part is the conclusion of this paper,understanding the design practice of graphic language.
