The Tang dynasty was in the prime of its prosperity and splendor in the Chinese feudal society. Its drawings also developed to a splendid upsurge. The frescoes in temples and palaces were really meritorious and splendid. Similarly, the mural paintings in tomb chambers not only followed precedents, but also bore new features in themselves.The dynasty tomb of Li Shi Min, Zhao Ling, was dotted with tombs of emperors and empresses, generals and ministers and nobles. In the Zhao Ling, has nineteen by excavated, almost all the frescoed in tomb chambers depicted the real life, waiting men and maids and pleasure trips. Though unnamed, these frescoes must have been the masterpieces, as a rule, by court artists. According to a collecting of Famous Paintings in the Tang Dynasty and other sources, the artists in the Tang dynasty who were noted for drawing frescoes numbered nearly 100. The fresco bears record to human spiritual life and feelings after daily labour. Their extraordinary painting techniques constituted a very unique style of the times. Therefore, .it is inherritance and continuationg of tang dynasty derivant development.
