"卍,卐" decorative pattern is not only a worldwild symbol, but one of the Chinese traditional auspicious pattern, which develops considerably in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and is utilized widely as fabric decorates, building parts, chinaware, lives mixed and so on.The paper uses architectural typology method, which divides "卍,卐" decorative pattern into two types, namely individual type and combined type. In addition The paper also uses analysis method of industrial art study, which divides "卍,卐" decorative pattern specifically into independent form, vertical form,back vertical form,vertical pattern and so on.As one of the traditional propitious grain types in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, its history may trace to HouShan culture and MaJiaYao culture during the Neolithic Age. According to their artistic characteristics manifested in different historical periods, the paper divides its development periods into four stages, that is, symbolic stage, combined with the Buddhism culture fusion stage, prosperity stage, secularization stage.At the symbolic stage, it displays the mystical and ferocious beauty; At the combined with the Buddhism culture fusion stage, it represents the dignified esthetic implication of Buddhism; At prosperity stage, it manifests the concision and delicate beauty; At secularization stage, it displays the splendid rich artistic beauty."卍,卐" decorative pattern in the Ming and Qing Dynasties have rich and colorful forms, which cannot be separated with the development of handicraft industry at that time. As a result of the urban economy prosperity, residential culture richness, as well as the spreading of Confucianism Confucianism, Buddhism, Daoism, "卍,卐" decorative pattern evolves gradually into people's appealing decorative patterns during Ming and Qing Dynasties.
