"The overall value of music is providing the balanced and comprehensive of thinking and feelings experience with challenging the motives and stirring music education, in order to satisfy with the needs of individual and educational of the younger generation. Music significances is not only just for students to make a living and teaching, but the life and the lives of students, which the same as broader arts." The value of Normal non-professional musician's education is the same as the value of music; however, for a long time, focusing on specialized too much and emphasizing on skills one-sided, the instructor ignored the right training objectives of normal non-professional music education, which seriously affects the efficiency of the Normal non-professional musician's education. This paper trying to analysis the status of non-professional music education of two normal universities in Guizhou, making use of questionnaires, interviews and site visits, in order to find the aim of education, the content of teaching, the course, the ways of teaching and the questions which exist in the education estimate.This thesis consists of four parts:Part one describes the theoretical foundation of Normal non-professional musician's education in detail and explores the study state of Normal non-professional musician's education both in China.Part two discusses the study on Normal non-professional musician's education to find the deficiencies of its use in practice, by using of questionnaires, interviews and site visits in the teaching method. The main problems are as follows:1. The target of the education is emphasizes craftsmanship too much.2. Education content doesn't match with require of specialty.3. Curriculum setting is illogicality.4. Singularity of teaching method.5. Singularity of teaching estimate.Part three analyses the reasons of the current existing problem on Normal non-professional musician's education: 1. The object of non-professional music education emphasizes the value of tools, however, which ignore the ability of taste.2. The lowly quality of teachers.3. The teaching methods of digital piano course are the same as condition's.Part four summarizes the whole thesis and puts forward some constructive suggestion to improve the efficiency of Normal non-professional musician's education. We should develop "based on high non-professional music education division of the training objectives, highlight the aesthetic capacity", "enhance the quality and capacity of music teachers ", "Distribution of modular courses," "flexible coordination of the main object of collaboration," "independence and system Integration of "the specific strategies and, through construction of new curricula and training mode, and change the existing form of teaching, select and use the teaching methods with practicality and applicability, select and pieces from different types of materials, teach students in accordance with their aptitude, tap potentials of the principles of teaching.
