The famous works of Milan Kundera display special aesthetic characters on its media criticism, including 10 fictions,3 essays and 1 play, which have been translated into Chinese. People may get these specific views directly from his essays; or infer them from much more literary expressions. The former leads to the root of his media criticism, the ontology of the fiction, which discloses that media has become into essential parts of the hunman existance as a whole. Kundera insists the novel could expose the complexity of the world's or human's existence, but the mass media do the opposite things which cover the truth; while results from the latter can be concluded into criticisms to 3 main aspects as follows, media events, media roles and media forms. And they are all highly related to the public domain and privite domain. Accordingly, the mass media make human's self forgotten via many methos. So the literature should confront those flout bravely. In all the works above, Kundera takes a humour tone with the mass media that always tends to flout the People and their human nature, which indicates enduring merits of Milan Kundera's fictional world. The pose of humour for Kundera does not only imply making fun of all the practical fields, but suggests the wisdom obtained from this novelist's difficult social and political life experiences that had been gone through. Further more, as for our Chinese, Kundera's homour strategy seems way precious, when the mission of Enlightment has not been accomplished authentically till today.
