This paper begins with the historical novel of Yangjia Jiang in Ming Dynasty,followed by the studies on female images of "Romance of the Yang's".This paper aims to take a in-depth analysis of the female images and compare the female images of literary works before and after the novel.Such a conclusion as the emergence of female images is of the significance and impact can be reached on the basis of the comparison,the main method of the study is text-reading and comparison and contrast.The first chapter describes two important novels about Yangjia Jiang in Ming Dynasty,"Romance of the Yang's" and "North Song History Romance",and examines the definition of the romance of YangJiaJiang in history.The second chapter focuses on analysis of female images of YangJiaJiang,among which the key figures are studied in specific section including She Taijun,Mu Guiying,diesel-Jun Zhu,Yang Xuan mother,the eighth mother,the ninth younger sister,the secondary characters' main features are summed up in the same section.The third chapter explores the unique artistic charm of YangJiaJiang, in comparison with the previous female images in the novels,"Romance of the Three Kingdoms","Outlaws of the Marsh" and with the female images in the subsequent novels, "Heroes of the sons and daughters","yellow hydrangeas,".and thus YangJiaJiang images of women act as a connecting link between the preceding women's role and the subsequent one.Chapterâ…£discuss the reasons of the ermerge of the brilliant female generals of the Yangs' in specific historical conditions of Ming Dynasty and the impact on the shaping of the women images of future generations for literary works.
