This thesis is based on the collection of Bronze Weapons of Pre-Qin period in Jilin Provincial Museum including 71 Ge (戈),33 Sword(剑),89 Arrowhead(镞). It has been a really long time since they were collected. However, according to the historical reasons, they have never been reported or studied before. So, this thesis will report them systematically and do an initially study about them. There are four parts in this thesis.In the preface, a brief introduction of the collection of Bronze Weapons of Pre-Qin period in Jilin Province Museum has been made. We review the research history of Bronze Weapons and show the Bronze Ge (戈), Sword(剑) and Arrowhead(镞) terminologies in sketch maps. And also the typology study norm has been defined in this part.Chapter 1: Typology study on these three kinds of Bronze Weapons. We describe every type of them and illustrate them in figures. Chapter 2: Comparison with the excavated Bronze Weapons in Central Plain. We determine the period each object belongs to.Chapter 3: Conclusion. We summarize the analysis of the typology study of Bronze Weapons of Pre-Qin period in Jilin Province Museum. The conclusion shows that the date range of the Bronze Weapons is from Early Shang Dynasty to Late Warrior state period. Bronze Swords mainly belong to Eastern Zhou period. And Bronze Arrowheads are from Late Xia Dynasty to Late Warrior state period. This thesis provides new materials of Bronze Weapons including the inscriptions on them to scholars. It can promote the research on Bronze Weapons. And also we know clearly about their relative date which can make us exhibit them to museum audience perfectly 2according to their historical development.
