Zhu Xiang,a modem poet,is a very controversial writer.And researches on him diverse greatly,which are as follows:firstly,which group he belongs to;secondly,the explanation of the poem;thirdly,the reflection of the suicide.In fact,all the disputation results from the difference of Aestheticism and realism.Zhu Xiang respects Romantic poet,and at the same time,there is a strong Symbolism and Modernism in his poems. Because of the existence of Romanticism,Realism and Modernism,his poems have different artistic characteristics.These characteristics maybe perform as subjective ideal, objective reality,aesthetics.However,no matter what form it has,they have the same noble humane care.In Romanticism,the poet units his life and nature,and in the way, life and nature interact with each other peacefully,in which humane care performs as harmony between man and nature.In Realism,the poet breaks through his own emotional World,showing and having almost the same feeling with other people.It is a kind of lofty and concrete humane care.In Modernism,the poet pays attention to interesting things and denies the boring life.By this way,humane care shows respect for the quality of life and disparages its quantity.In space,Romanticism,Realism and Modernism exist together,as well as nature,society and life.In time,Zhu Xiang's poem anthologies generally contradict with each other,which may explain at some extent which group he belongs to,the explanation of the poem and the reflection of the suicide.The three literary thoughts' contradiction and unitization is a vivid characteristic of Zhu Xiang's poem.From the aspect of unitization,the creating characteristics of the three literary thoughts exist together:in Romanticism,nature give him the romantic emotion,in which we see the poet's natural strive;in Realism,society brings him objective reflection,which let us know his hard life;in Modernism,art offers him satisfaction and happiness,which make us realize his artistic emotion;From the aspect of contradiction,the three literary thoughts' characteristics cannot exist together:May 4 Movement made him believe poet should make life by writing poems,but its dark reality in later time also gave him a hard time.The pursuit of spirit life becomes pain and desolation,depression and despair in heart.At last,he has to go to the Palace of Beauty delicately made by him...
