| Since ancient times, the problem of providing for the aged has been a social problem that people generally pay attention to.The emergence and development of China’s traditional pension model has a profound social, economic and cultural foundation. In the 5,000 years of civilized development, the behavior model of family pension has evolved into Confucian pension culture with filial piety as the core, which has been deeply integrated into the concept system of the Chinese nation and has a very high social status.China’s aging population is becoming more and more severe, and the elderly are increasingly demanding medical rehabilitation services. However,China’s traditional pension model has certain limitations. Therefore, the country put forward a pension model combining medical care with nursing care, which effectively complements the limitations of traditional pension. The mode of combining medical care with old-age care is a new old-age care mode,in which families, social organizations, community centers, nursing homes and medical institutions provide the elderly with services such as life care, leisure and entertainment, rehabilitation and health care, disease diagnosis and treatment, etc. It is an extension of the traditional old-age care mode and an innovation of the old-age care concept. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the cultural characteristics and ethical value of the model of combining medical care with old-age care from an ethical perspective,so as to effectively achieve the goal of "providing the elderly with a sense of security, medical care, worthiness, learning, teaching and happiness" and promote the construction of a harmonious society.Firstly, the thesis combs the historical evolution of the traditional pension model in China and analyzes three ethical characteristics: family ethics dominated by paternal authority, moral norms centered on traditional filial piety and institutional ethics constrained by family precepts. Then,it analyzes the existing problems of the traditional pension model in China, such as: the population aging situation is grim; The health problems of the elderly are outstanding, and the demand for medical care is increasing day by day;Weakening of family pension function;Simple institutional pension is difficult to meet the demand;Social pension development lags behind. In order to solve these problems,it is proposed that "combination of medical care and nursing care" is an inevitable choice for the reform and development of China’s current aged care service. At present, the development of the model of combining medical care with old-age care is still in its infancy, and all parts of the country actively explore the pilot model of combining medical care with old-age care, which has formed diversified types such as "nursing in medical care","nursing in medical care","cooperation between medical care and old-age care".However,in the process of operation, there are still some problems, such as unbalanced development of old-age services, insufficient spiritual comfort services for the elderly, and outstanding loneliness and anxiety.Besides economy and policy, the main causes of these problems are people’s ideas, values and other factors. For example, the conflict between the old people’s traditional concept of providing for the aged and the concept of combining medical care with old-age care, the weakening of moral regulation and the imperfect construction of policy system, the contradiction between the old people’s demand for a better life and the insufficient supply of old-age care, the expansion of utilitarianism and the deviation of moral value goals have brought severe challenges to the construction of the model of combining medical care with old-age care in China. In order to alleviate the above value conflicts existing in the model of combining medical care with old-age care,it is proposed to follow the principles of people-oriented,social justice, ethical care and the unity of justice and benefit in the development of the model from the perspective of ethics. It also actively constructs a diversified, characteristic, professional and standardized service model of combining medical care with old-age care from the aspects of ideological concepts, policies and systems, service contents and talents. |
