Reading is one of the most important cognitive activities in our daily life. The rapid development of eye movement technology can provide objective and accurate data for the further study of reading.Reading Disorder (RD) is the most important type of Learning Disorder. In this study we explored the eye movement characters of Chinese children with reading disorder during English reading, and compared the differences between the normal group and RD group. We concluded the characters of Chinese children with reading disorder when reading English. We designed two experiments in this study. In the first experiment, we analyzed the eye movement characters and differences between children with RD and normal ones when distinguishing English words .In the second one, we analyzed the eye movement characters and differences between the two groups during their English reading comprehension. Both of the experiments were adopted by 2 x 2 experimental design. The research obtains following results:1. For the RD children, the reading score of the two kinds of English materials were significantly lower than normal group.2. RD children have more fixations and their average fixation duration was longer than normal group. Their processing speed is slow.3. The loss of time of RD children was significantly more during their reading.4. The distance of saccadic of RD children is shorter than the normal group and they have more back sight.
