Guided Learning Plan is one of the main teaching means for education researchers to solve teaching contradictions in the process of educational concept reform.It aims to focus on students' subject status,cultivate students' self-learning awareness,and improve classroom teaching efficiency and students' learning efficiency.This thesis will draw on the typical case of the Guided Learning Plan class,based on the theory of constructivism,the zone of proximal development and the theory of humanism,based on the learning situation of junior high school students and the current situation of junior high school English teaching.Through the experiment of Guided Learning Plan teaching,this thesis explores the influence and effectiveness of this method on learning English reading for junior high school students,in order to enrich junior middle school English teaching methods.In this thesis,two classes of a school in Yueyang City were selected as the research object,and the sixteen-week English-speaking teaching experiment was carried out.The empirical research method combining qualitative research and quantitative research was adopted,and the questionnaire survey was used.The pre-test and after-test methods were used to collect data,and the data was analyzed by SPSS 23.0statistical software.The research questions are as follows:(1)What is the effect of the Guided Learning Plan on students' interest in learning to read?(2)What is the effect of the Guided Learning Plan on the use of English reading strategies ?(3)What is the effect of the Guided Learning Plan on students' reading performance ?It is found that Guided learning Plan has a positive significance for the interest transference and cultivation of students' reading.As the students' active learning interest grows,their self-awareness is fully demonstrated.The sense of accomplishment cultivates students' self-confidence and further promotes students' emotional recognition of English reading.In addition,Guided Learning Plan effectively constructs the students' reading method system,which can effectively help students form scientific steps of reading.The scientific steps of reading make itform a clear reading idea in the mind,and Guided Learning Plan has a certain promotion effect on the students' English reading performance,and the difference between the experimental class and the control class is more obvious.
