| Chinese opera performance art has undergone three stages:birth, development and prosperity.Not only did it draw the the scientific vocal skills from Bel canto,but it also inherited the essence of traditional folk music.Through introducing international advanced music culture,it has formed a diverse trends.This thesis disscusses the massive inflence of Bel canto upon the Chinese opera performance art,and explores its causes in order to point out the direction of its development.The whole thesis consists of four parts as follows:Partâ… is a brief introduction of development of Bel canto and the Chinese opera performance art.Partâ…¡states the aesthetic characteristics and origins of Bel canto and the Chinese opera performance art,and the impact of Bel canto upon the Chinese opera performance art.Partâ…¢is around the invetability of Bal canto to upgrade the Chinese opera performance art.It focuses on the impact of Bel canto techniques upon the Chinese opera and the problem of Nationalization. These are supported by an example of the success of the opera aria.Partâ…£presents an analysis of the impact by Bel canto on the development of diversification of the Chinese opera performance art,and puts forward a benificial suggestion to its development.The thesis is a sound analysis of the impact of Bel cant upon the Chinese opera performance art,enriching the theoretical research in this area.It is a reflection and good reference for how to introduce,reference and develop the Chinese opera performance.It is just a surpport for the diversified development of the Chinese opera performance.
