"Law Of Retaining Wealth" Of Yun-tai Nie's Philosophy Thought And Its Modern Value

"Law of Retaining Wealth" was written by Yun-tai Nie on the eve of the liberation of New China, which is an important academic works in the history of Chinese Buddhism philosophy. The book clarifies the dialectical relationship among business, politics and ethics. It combines all the advantages of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, and forms a being rich, rich security system with its own characteristics of dialectical thinking concerning politics, economy, philosophy, ethics and so on. As a Buddhist philosophical works in China' s recent modern times, it links the past and the future, explores and innovates, whose role is non-negligible. This thesis tries to hackle "Law of Retaining Wealth" systematically from argument for the rational desire of Buddhism, value view, happiness as well as its philosophy thought, and introduces the rich and special philosophy thought about the book.Economic philosophy was defined by Professor Zhang Xiong as follows: philosophy is a rational question to economical world. At the aspect of the relationship between nature and human, Yun-tai Nie emphasizes that we should abide by the nature' s rules and pay attention to human' s position and their role, and he also claims that policy of benevolence is carried out based on nature laws. At the aspect of Ethical ideology, he emphasizes social ethics construction, claims that one should suppress his desire and tends to his reason, and has formed his own understanding about view of happiness and view of life and death. At the aspect of religious, he puts forward a point that one would suffer from what he has done and even what other peoples have done. He advocates Buddhism retribution doctrine seriously. Part 3 discusses the construction of thought of "Law of Retaining Wealth" and moral characteristics of modern citizens, as well as its modern value under the condition of contemporary market economy.
