Tang Dynasty was a dynasty with abundant poems. Yuezhou poetry became very prosperous under the background of Tang dynasty .There were 246 poets who created Yuezhou Poetry. They wrote 1,226 poems within 289 years. With Tang dynasty becoming extinct, Yuezhou poetry also entered a low point stage.First of all, the composition of Yuezhou poetry will be studied from the geographical point of view in this article. Similarities and differences in the theme, content and aesthetic characteristics of art between Yueyang Tower poetry, Junshan Poetry and Qu Yuan Temple Poetry will be revealed and the reasons of similarities and differences will be discussed in the thesis. Thus, we will be able to grasp the intrinsic relationship between them and their status in Yuezhou poetry of Tang Dynasty. Then we will make a study of Yuezhou poetry from the point of time and try to grasp Yuezhou poetry's survey of development, total features, relationships with policies and changes in the mentality of poets at every stage in the background of the Tang Dynasty. At the same time we will study the representative of groups and poets of every period. Thus we will be able to grasp the essential characters of Yuezhou poetry at every stage.On the basis of analyzing many Yuezhou poems, the overall characteristics and Aesthetic characteristics of Yuezhou poetry are to be generalized in this article. We can see Yuezhou poetry remains an inseparable integration despite it has different characteristics in the different regions and stages. Since Yuezhou Poetry of Tang Dynasty is a part of Huxiang culture, the relationships between Yuezhou poetry and Hunan Culture and its impact and contribution to the Huxiang culture will be discussed in this article.
