On The Understratum Narrative Of Chen Ying-song's Fiction

According to the difference of material, the author of this paper intends to make the analysis and discuss about Chen Ying-song's creation on the basis of dividing it into three parts in a synchronic way. The first chapter mainly analyzes the novels of"boatman series". Firstly, the author analyzes the reason of Chen Ying-song's transition in writing from poem to novel according to the social and historic characteristic in the late 80s',the cultural circumstances ,the predicament of the development of the poetry in 80s'and his personal experience. Simultaneously, the author confirms the literature concept of"the understratum narrative". Then discusses his specific exploration into the misery of the people among the under stratum which controlled by his understratum consciousness: the identity confusion and anxiety of understratum intellectuals and the spiritual rheological of individual life suffering from miserable reality. The second chapter chiefly studies"Gong-an shui xiang series",the author studies two views in spiritual respect in this kind of novels :to dissect the predicament of humanity and disaster of soul in understratum reality ;to ponder the individual life in a philosophical way and to focus on the ultimate annotation . The third chapter mainly analyzes the novels of"Shennongjia series".this chapter discusses the success and failure of Chen Ying-song's artistry in understratum narrative according to the representative cases :the impact of modern civilization on the value system of understratum ;the desire of the people among the understratum to seek for the modern lifestyles ;the deviation of understratum narrative—the unilateral and distorted imagination of the metropolis.
