In the view of the understratum narration, Lao She is a representative writer who is extremely worthy of studying. As a member at the bottom of society, Lao She was feeling sorrow, gladness, bitterness and joys of the bottom life with empathy, and he realistically narrated the life, death, separation and meeting of the poor people. Lao She's understratum narration not only showed the original poor situation of the bottom, but, more importantly, explored the complicated humanity that was hidden in the misery of the poor at the bottom, and analyzed the causes of conflict between one and other people or the society. The first chapter of this paper focuses on the interpretation of the characters'humanity and then illustrates the life connotation of Lao she's understratum narration. As a unique style of artistic performing form, literature has its intrinsic aesthetic norms. How to express the narrative persuasion and artistic appeal in the understratum narration? It needs to resort to some ingenious narrative skills by which the author can reconstruct a real and logical experience world. The second chapter tends to analyze the artistic strategies of Lao She's understratum narration. The fact that Lao she's understratum narration can be taken in the classical literature system is closely linked to his real and rich experience of poor life. Just by the reason that Lao She had experienced poverty and hunger for a long time, and that he was very familiar with the bottom society and felt sympathy and pity for the bottom compatriots, he can narrate the bottom world lively and vividly. The third chapter attempts to explore the subjective origin of Lao she's understratum narration from two main perspectives:"poor people" complex and bottom experience, and'Xiejia'identity and enlightenment position. Dedicating himself persistently to understratum narration, Lao She was a great writer in Chinese literature history of the twentieth century. Lao She's understratum narration provides the contemporary literary circles with rich spiritual wealth and valuable literary experience on understratum writing. With regard to this unique cultural legacy, we still need to further explore it profoundly.
