Leopold's Land Ethics not only has its profound theoretical background, but also has certain times background, including land community, new ethics norms and principle of land ethics. This theory is based on ecological holism and evolution of moral sensibility. It appears the three characters of theory: anti-stream, synthesized and creative, intersected. The theory has deep philosophical basis. It not only reflects ecological beauty of combination of lives and environment but also shows ethical beauty of ecosystem evolution with moral community expanding .Of course this theory also exists certain localization, for example, naturalism, occultism and opposition of individual and macrocosm.
