Study On The Diversity Of Graphic Design Teaching System

What kind of teaching system in design education is appropriate? How to build a teaching model with Chinese characteristics and the characteristics of the academies themselves? With such issues,the author has set to a study of the diversity of graphic design teaching system between Central Academy of Fine Arts and Chinese Academy of Art.By this paper,as the final project,the author analyzed the graphic design departments and the teaching method evolution of the two academies,taking graphic design as the background,history and present state as time dimension. This paper mainly focuses on the positioning of graphic design teaching, curriculum,teaching methods and final project design,By that,the author trying to find out the sameness and diversity,and the respective causes of the two academies,as well as interactions of graphic design on the development of times and the discipline.By reference to documents,on spot investigation,and interview on relevant staff,The article firstly makes analysis on the evolution history of professions and teaching departments of the two academies;then,on the diversity of the education systems,in order to find out the characteristics and advantages respectively;such as:1.The goal and position of teaching2.Building of Teaching system and management,3.The curriculum design of graphic design and teaching practice,4.Ideas on the graduation project,5.Academic exchanges and activities.finally,the author summarized the teaching systems of the two academies, and put forward some personal opinions,with hoping to bring some valuable reference and inspiration to colleagues.
