The new kingdom period is the heyday of the history in Ancient Egypt. Amenhotep III is the ninth ruler of the Eighteenth Dynasty. From his predecessors'effort he inherited a great empire. Egypt was wealthier and more powerful than before, reached an unprecedented prosperity. In such historical condition, Amenhotep III accesses to throne.In the government of Amenhotep III,"the granary of upper and lower Egypt"is the most important sector. It mainly takes in charge the cultivation of agricultural, harvesting and distribution in order to keep the daily life of the whole empire in proper:"the granary of upper and lower Egypt"played the role of providing financial security for the Imperial Government. In the pharaoh's army, the discipline is strict. The army is a powerful tool for pharaoh to maintain the centralization of power. Meanwhile Vizier is the agent of the Pharaoh, Vizier's duty reflects the way of the Pharaoh rules and his political intent.During Amenhotep III's reign, diplomatic activities is the most active period in ancient times. Between the relationship with Babylon, the pharaoh wins the super status through the gift exchange, marriage. But the purpose of contacts with Mitanni is not only a simple order to win the great power status, but also the aim of a political alliance with Mitanni. With the Amenhotep III's effort, Egypt wins a favorable situation in the ancient Near East area. Amenhotep III has a good control of the Nubian region. In addition, the relationship with Aegean civilization and the area of Pakistan and Syria have also maintained the economic exchanges smoothly. Amenhotep III is an excellent diplomat, he made Egypt to be a super power country in the ancient Near East area without any fight or any war.Amenhotep III is a great Pharaoh. He breaks the traditional way of the royal family to marry a civilian woman to Queen, and then promote some new elites who loyal to him. In domestic he constructed lots of stunning buildings. Left to the world lots of fabulous architectures. During his rule time the whole country seemed to have changed. He has a great influence on his successor - Amenhotep IV. Amenhotep III's rule time is the dawn of Amarna period.
