Logic is a abstract discipline researching theories, in order to make the abstract logical relationships be more intuitive, easier to understand, people in the early Middle Ages had invented the technique using a circle or closed curve to deal with the classical syllogism. This is the prototype of the logic diagram. During with a long development and changes, logic diagram, after the application and changes of Leibniz, Euler, Venn, Hamilton and Peirce and other people, there have been Leibniz's diagrams, Euler's diagram, Venn's diagram, Hamilton's diagram, Peirce's diagram, and so on, from the initial brief description for the syllogism developed into the expression for logical relationships. Because the key to finishing the changes form traditional logic to modern logic is to establish the theories of relations, so logic diagram has undergone the process of changes from the traditional logic of modern logic. This atricle, in accordance with the time, from the initial forms and the scope of application of logic, introduced some logic diagram: Euler's diagram, Venn's diagram, Peirce-Venn's diagram and Peirce's existential graphs, and definitions features, character, usage of them, and then through the way of taking examples, compared with the graphic formations and the formation of rules, symbols of these logic diagrams, through the analysis of several similarities and differences between these logic diagrams, found the development process of the logic diagram from simple to complex, from the low-level to advanced. The method by comparing several diagrams is to find the strengths and weaknesses, and the development process which finally led to Diagrammatic Logic of logic diagram, and gave a briefing on Diagrammatic Logic and introduced the research results and the research on trends situations home and abroad, and took examples to illustrate the characters and applications of Diagrammatic Logic. This article not only summarized various features and applications of logic diagrams form the existing researching outcomes, but also did some ground-breaking comparative studies on several important logic diagrams, and introduced the characteristics and applications of Diagrammatic Logic simply, and took an example to illustrate specific applications of Diagrammatic Logic, and promoted the further research of Diagrammatic Logic.
