Ci Poems And The Development Of Secular Ci Pomes During Song Dynasty

In this paper, we research a important Ci poet, taking the Song Dynasty particularly Northern Song Dynasty secular Ci poems development as the background. His name is Zhao Zhangqing who wrote a large number of Ci poems. He is not a remarkable author. Although he left us with a considerable number of works, he seems to always be ignored by commentators. In recent years, taking a look at the more influential works about the history of Chinese literature, we can hardly find any information about Zhao Zhangqing. A author who wrote nearly 339 Ci poetry in The Complete Collection of Song Ci Poems has always been negligible critics. The phenomenon itself is worthy of our study. This phenomenon have a very important reason is that the Ci poems which created by Zhao Zhangqing departure from the traditional literature evaluation of poems. His Ci poems whether in the form or language and so forth have drifted away from the mainstream literary values. However, with deepening study of the secular works, Zhao Zhangqing's secular works, which is similar to the Northern Song popular works and Yuan works, should be paid more attention to by literary critics. So we study the development of Northern Song popular works in this paper and the influence of the development on the creative of Zhao Zhangqing. In addition to, we introduce the Ci poems written by Zhao Zhangqing and his collection Xixiangyuefu, through the characteristics and major content creation. In this paper, We discuss five issues. Firstly, we study the time when Zhao Zhangqing lived and introduce Zhao Zhangqing's life and the important things that he has done when he lived. We study the ideological content of his works and try to find the reasons why his work always be neglected by literary critics. Secondly, we introduce the development of the Song popular works. Thirdly, we introduce the characteristics of Zhao Zhangqing's Ci works, and try to explain how the characteristics form. Fourthly, we introduce the major content of Zhao Zhangqing's creation, studying his creative motivation. Finally, we combine the above-mentioned aspects, try to learn the influence of Zhao Zhangqing's creation on the Yuan works 'development and give Zhao Zhangqing a Proper evaluation.The paper try to study the Zhao Zhangqing's works in the context of the secular works's development. So, The article mainly carried out from two points of argument. One is the impact of The previous generation of well-known poet on the Zhao Zhangqing's Ci works. We mainly study the reasons why Zhao Zhangqing's Ci works become secular. The other is the influence of the Zhao Zhangqing's Ci works, and try to prove the inheritance relationship between Yuan works and Zhao Zhangqing's Ci works.
